Efes ended its seven-game losing streak in the EuroLeague by downing Virtus 99-75 at home on Friday. Efes improved to 8-13 in the standings, while Virtus dropped to 14-7. Darius Thompson led the winners with 26 points. Elijah Bryant added 21, Shane Larkin had 11 while Tyrique Jones got a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double for Efes. Iffe Lundberg paced Virtus with 14 points. Jordan Mickey added 12 while Marco Belinelli had 10 for the guests.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 88-79 Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv
Partizan produced its biggest-ever comeback in a EuroLeague game to beat visiting Maccabi 88-79 after wiping out a 24-point deficit in a fervent atmosphere at Stark Arena. Partizan, which had lost four of its previous five games, improved to 11-10 while Maccabi dropped to 12-9 after PJ Dozier paced the home team with 23 points and 7 rebounds. James Nunnally posted 20 points before he was ejected for two technical fouls early in the fourth quarter, with Bruno Caboclo also instrumental as he racked up 11 points, 4 rebounds and as many blocks before picking up his fifth foul with 4:05 to go in the fourth. At the other end, Wade Baldwin netted 19 points for Maccabi and Roman Sarkin added 14 for the visitors.
Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 80-69 Olympiacos Piraeus
Baskonia got back to winning ways and back to protecting its home court with an 80-69 win over Olympiacos. Baskonia improved to 11-10 on the season and now has the same record as Olympiacos, which suffered its second consecutive loss. Markus Howard led the way with 21 points on 5-for-9 three-point shooting. Chima Moneke had 13 points and 7 rebounds, Dani Diez netted 11 and Tadas Sedekerskis scored 10 in the victory. Isaiah Canaan had 19 points on 5-for-9 three-point shooting for Olympiacos. Filip Petrusev had 14, Nikola Milutinov collected 12 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks, while Nigel Williams-Goss also scored 12.
FC Barcelona 91-73 Zalgiris Kaunas
Barcelona swept the double-round week and extended its winning streak to four games with an 89-73 victory at home over Zalgiris. Dario Brizuela shattered his previous career best of 9 points with 24 points and Jabari Parker scored 18 points in helping Barcelona move to 15-6 and 10-1 at home. Friday night's victory gave Barcelona sole possession of second place in the standings. Zalgiris fell to 7-14 despite Edmond Sumner scoring 15 points. The guests shot just 41.2% on two-pointers and 32.1% on three-pointers in the game.
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne 63-88 ALBA Berlin
ALBA registered its first road win in the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign by thrashing ASVEL 63-88 at the Astroballe in Round 21 on Friday. Both teams now have a 4-17 regular-season record. Sterling Brown and Yanni Wetzell led the winners with 13 points apiece. Gabriele Procida and Johannes Thiemann each added 12, Justin Bean had 10 while Khalifa Koumadje pulled down 10 rebounds for ALBA. Paris Lee and Charles Kahudi led ASVEL with 12 points apiece.

Fenerbahce survived a thrilling battle with Bayern as it grabbed a 98-91 win in overtime to improve to 13-8. In a game that saw 25 lead changes, Scottie Wilbekin poured in 30 points and Dyshawn Pierre scored 10 of his 15 points in overtime for a career-high PIR of 29. Tyler Dorsey chipped in 13 points and Johnathan Motley added 12 points to help Fenerbahce win its seventh game in the last eight since Saras Jasikevicius has taken over as head coach. Fenerbahce also improved to 10-1 at home.

Panathinaikos has ended the double-round week with a second home win by beating Monaco 88-63 at OAKA in Round 21. PAO improved to 13-8, while Monaco dropped to 11-10. Mathias Lessort paired his game-high 23 points with 9 rebounds for a PIR of 42. Kendrick Nunn scored 21 points, Dinos Mitoglou had 12 and Juancho Hernangomez added 10. Donatas Motiejunas paced the guests with 13 points, while Matthew Strazel and Mike James netted 11 each.

Crvena Zvezda kept alive its hopes of reaching the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs, as the Serbian team improved its regular-season record to 9-12 after an impressive 62-76 win at Milan. Rokas Giedraitis paced the visitors with a game-high 22 points and 6 rebounds in a physical contest, while center Joel Bolomboy racked up 14 points and 6 rebounds. Milos Teodosic chipped in with 9 points and 5 assists for Zvezda, which dominated the boards as it collected 37 rebounds to Milan's 31. At the other end, Giordano Bortolani scored 14 points and Alex Poythress added 12 for a misfiring Milan, whose shorthanded roster made only 6-of-22 shots from downtown and committed 15 turnovers, while managing only 14 assists.
Real Madrid 96-86 Valencia Basket
Real Madrid recovered from an early double-digit deficit to maintain its 100% home record with another overtime thriller, eventually prevailing 96-86 over Valencia. The visiting team has now lost three close games in a row and dropped to 10-11, while Real stays clear in first place at 19-2. A fast start from Valencia established a 16-28 lead early in the second quarter, but Real gradually came back and led until Jared Harper forced overtime with a three-pointer at the final buzzer.
