Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has announced that Arturs Zagars suffered a hamstring injury during the team's Round 5 win against FC Bayern Munich on Thursday night.

The 25-year-old underwent examinations at Medicana Atasehir Hospital and it was confirmed that a second-degree injury was detected in his right hamstring muscle. As confirmed by Fenerbahce, Zagars has already begun his treatment.

The Latvian point guard has made two EuroLeague appearances for Fenerbahce so far this season, having appeared in Rounds 4 and 5. In those two games, he averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 assists.
