"We were amazing on the boards. Congratulations to the team. We tied the series, but it's a long series against a great team. We played against all odds, especially after the amazing opening quarter they had: +14. We found the strength, being composed, and we gave our fights on the boards. We fought until the end. I think we found the right five. Each and every one contributed. It was big that Carsen [Edwards] came in and give us huge minutes, and then Tyler [Dorsey] took it from there. Nick [Calathes] was maestro in the beginning, [Marko] Guduric took it from there. Nigel [Hayes-Davis] and DP [Dyshawn Pierre] played huge minutes because of their size – they gave us a lot. We are happy we tied the series, but it is just tied. It's a long process. We showed that we are not here accidentally. We are here because we want to fight; we are here because are a good team; we are here because we want to learn. We are in a process, we are a new team. I am new over there in a great environment. That is what I am keeping from [these games], that we are here to fight."
"The 2 missed free throws and 2 defensive rebounds we couldn't get [at the end of the game proved key]. One bad decision for us, one good decision for Fenerbahce. It was a tight game, as we expected it to be. We have to analyze it now and be stronger in Istanbul."
"I started off slow. They did a good job, I wasn't getting a lot of touches, but I told myself at halftime, 'When the ball comes, shoot the ball.' I missed a couple early and stayed with it. The guys trusted me. Credit to the coaching staff, they came up with a very, very great game plan. We followed it much better than we did in the first game, and that's why we were able to win."
"It's what a good team does. We've got to stay composed. They are gonna give us the punches, and we got to take them and respond in a positive way. I think we did a good job of staying level-headed and getting what we wanted tonight. You always want to protect your home court. Playing in an environment like this, they've got to come to our environment; we are definitely going to be more comfortable."
