Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul will play its final home game of the 2021-22 season when it hosts Panathinaikos OPAP Athens on Friday night.
Keys to victory: Fenerbahce vs. Panathinaikos
Challenging inside could make the difference for Fenerbahce
The Yellow Canaries are strong inside led by Jan Vesely and Devin Booker. They have the team ranked second in the league in two-point accuracy (56.9%), though a lot of that credit is due to the backcourt; Fenerbahce is also second in assists (18.1 apg.). Against Panathinaikos, the path to the basket will at times be blocked by star center Georgios Papagiannis and thanks to his presence, the Greens are second in the league in blocked shots (3.1 bpg.) However, Panathinaikos has allowed the most offensive rebounds per game (11.6) and has been outrebounded by 3.4 rebounds per game. If Fenerbahce can control the paint, it could be in line for a win in its final home game.

Panathinaikos needs more from its guards
Panathinaikos has not gotten elite production from its backcourt for 40 minutes per game this season. The Greens are last in the league in steals (5.2 spg.), third-worst in three-point accuracy (33.5%) and fourth from the bottom in assists (15.2 apg.). Nemanja Nedovic and Daryl Macon have put up nice numbers for the team, but without picking up the numbers in the aforementioned categories, it will be tough for Panathinaikos to finish the season on a winning note.
