Arnas Butkevicius pens new deal at Zalgiris until 2027

Zalgiris Kaunas has announced that forward Arnas Butkevicius has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.
Butkevicius has spent the last three seasons with Zalgiris, playing 92 times for the club in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague over that period. In 33 appearances in the 2024-25 campaign, the 32-year-old averaged 4.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steal per game.
In addition to his three years of EuroLeague experience with Zalgiris, Butkevicius also appeared in the competition in the 2014-15 season with Neptunas Klaipeda. That same year, he played for Neptunas in the BKT EuroCup, and then again in the 2015-16 campaign. Between 2017 and 2020, Butkevicius suited up for Rytas Vilnius in the EuroCup.
