Dubai brings in Matt Ryan

Dubai Basketball has announced the signing of Matt Ryan on a deal until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Ryan (1.98 meters, 27 years old) has split his career between the NBA and the G League to date. Last season, he averaged 1.5 points in a limited role off the bench across 19 games for the New York Knicks, as well as 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal in two G League appearances for the Westchester Knicks.
The American swingman has played in 82 regular-season games in the NBA, which came with the Boston Celtics (2021-22), Los Angeles Lakers (2022-23), Minnesota Timberwolves (2022-23), New Orleans Pelicans (2023-24), and the Knicks (2024-25).
"Dubai Basketball is creating something special," Ryan told Dubai's official club media. "I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the club as my first experience in the EuroLeague. I’m here to compete and help my teammates as we strive to win at the highest level and make our fans proud."
Entering Round 11, Dubai sits in 15th place in the standings with a 4-6 record.
