Tommaso Baldasso sparked Milan in the second quarter, hitting a pair of threes, that helped Milan hold 40-33 at the break. Paris Lee and Bochoridis helped Panathinaikos cut the deficit in the third, but Milan remained with a lead before Davies and Nicolo Melli helped the visitors pull away in the fourth. Davies scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half. Billy Baron collected 12 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while Baldasso finished with 10 points. For the Greens, Nate Wolters had 10 points in a defeat.
Milan, Efes and Olympiacos win all-EuroLeague preseason games

In the third-place game at the Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament, the two-time defending EuroLeague champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul held off Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv 87-81. Efes pulled away with a huge second quarter, which it won 38-15 to build a 58-36 halftime advantage and it held on to it. Vasilije Micic scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half, and also dished 6 assists. Egehan Arna had 16 points and 6 rebounds and Will Clyburn scored 12 points in a victory. Wade Baldwin had 20 points for Maccabi and Bonzie Colson added 14 in a losing effort.
In an all-EuroLeague clash in the final of a tournament in Nicosia, Cyprus, Olympiacos Piraeus beat Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade 94-55. The Reds built a double-digit margin in the first quarter, then blew the game wide open early in the third quarter. Sasha Vezenkov paced the Reds with 19 points, Giannoulis Larentzakis had 15 and Joel Bolomboy 12 points. Luka Mitrovic scored 12 for Zvezda.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona set up their first clash of the season after passing their Spanish Supercup semifinals test. Barcelona downed 7DAYS EuroCup side Joventut Badalona 91-74. After trailing 39-46 at halftime, Barcelona turned things around in the third quarter, then cruised to victory in the fourth behind Nicolas Laprovittola who netted 26 points on 7-for-10 three-point shooting. Sertac Sanli had 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Rokas Jokubaitis scored 11 in a victory. Henry Ellenson and Joel Parra scored 14 apiece for Joventut, and Ante Tomic collected 13 points and 7 rebounds. Real reached the final by crushing Real Betis 100-69. Los Blancos led 42-35 at halftime, but then pulled away in the second quarter and its win was never in doubt. Dzanan Musa led all scorers with 21 points, and also had 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Gabriel Deck collected 17 points and 6 rebounds, while Guerschon Yabusele had 13 points and 9 rebounds in a win.
FC Bayern Munich handled Pesaro 72-38 in a semifinal of a tournament in Teramo, Italy. Vladimir Lucic had 14 points in a victory. Partizan NIS Belgrade lost its clash with against Zenit St Petersburg 81-65, with James Nunnelly scoring 18 and Yam Madar 15 points.
