ASVEL brings in forward Admiral Schofield

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has bolstered its frontcourt by inking power forward Admiral Schofield to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday.
Schofield (1.97 meters, 27 years old) arrives from NBA franchise the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 1.1 points in 23 games last season.
“Everywhere he went, Admiral was unanimously appreciated thanks, in particular, to his human qualities and his leadership;" ASVEL coach Pierre Poupet said. "His shooting skills and his volume of play will be valuable to us at the '4' spot. He joins us with the desire to prove his value and give a new boost to his career."
The English-American forward started his career with fellow NBA side the Washington Wizards, while he also played for Capital City, Greensboro and Lakeland of the G League.
Before that, Schofield finished his college career with the University of Tennessee, averaging 16.5 points on 41.8% three-pointers and 6.1 rebounds in 37 NCAA games in the 2018-19 season.
