Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz has confirmed that a mutual agreement has been reached to terminate the contract of Luka Samanic due to personal reasons.
Samanic, 25, joined Baskonia at the end of December 2024 and made 20 EuroLeague appearances for the club. He played in all five of Baskonia's games to start this season, averaging 7.0 points and 2.6 rebounds.
"Luka Samanic will no longer be part of the Baskonia roster after reaching a mutual agreement to terminate his contract due to personal reasons," read Baskonia's statement on Wednesday.
"The club thanks him for his commitment and professionalism during his time in Vitoria-Gasteiz and wishes him every success in his personal and professional future."
