Maccabi plucks Levi Randolph from rival Jerusalem

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv announced that it has signed swingman Levi Randolph. The contract is for one season with an option for a second. Randolph (1.98 meters, 31 years old) has spent the past two seasons with Maccabi’s Israeli League rival Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem.
He averaged 16.2 points on 42.2% three-point shooting, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 12 Basketball Champions League games last season. Randolph was selected to the All-BCL Second Team for the second straight season. He also posted 16.5 points on 40.2% three-point shooting, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in the Israeli League.
Randolph began his professional career in his native United States with the Maine Red Claws in the G League and has also suited up for Avellino and Dinamo Sassari in Italy, Strasbourg in France, Canton in the G League, the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian League and Oostende in Belgium. He was the Belgian League MVP while leading Oostende to the championship in 2022. Randolph also won the French Cup with Strasbourg in 2015.
"Levi Randolph fits our plans for the small forward position," Maccabi coach Oded Kattash told the club's official website. "Naturally, we have seen him closely the last two years and in addition to his professional skills on the court, this is a player who is a leader in the locker room, tough and someone who can help us in the challenges ahead."
