Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv announced on Saturday that guard Uros Trifunovic has been released from the team’s roster. The club extended its best wishes to the player for the future.
Trifunovic joined Maccabi ahead of the current season after a standout campaign in the Turkish League with Tofas Bursa. However, he would appear in only one game with the club. The 24-year-old scored 2 points in 3 minutes in Maccabi's season opening loss at Anadolu Efes Istanbul. He did not appear in any Israeli League games. The Serbian guard previously played two EuroLeague seasons with Partizan Belgrade.
