Olympiacos signs Cory Joseph

Olympiacos Piraeus has bolstered its options at the guard spot by signing Cory Joseph, who has penned a deal until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Joseph (1.88 meters, 34 years old) most recently played for the Orlando Magic, averaging 3.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in a reduced role across 50 games in the NBA last season.
A 2014 NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs, Joseph has played a total of 866 regular-season games and made 87 playoff appearances in his 14-season NBA career. His career averages stand at 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
Joseph, who was drafted with the 29th overall pick by the Spurs in the 2011 NBA Draft, spent the first four years of his professional career with San Antonio (2011-15) before going on to play for the Toronto Raptors (2015-17), Indiana Pacers (2017-19), Sacramento Kings (2019-21), Detroit Pistons (2021-23), Golden State Warriors (2023-24), and the Pacers (2024-25).
The Canadian guard has been a teammate of several EuroLeague players during his time in the NBA, including Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv's TJ Leaf (113 games), Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's Hamidou Diallo (100 games), Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens's Richaun Holmes (84 games), LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne's Nando De Colo (56 games), Real Madrid's Trey Lyles (43 games) and Olympiacos Piraeus's Saben Lee (41 games).
