The big man is competing in his seventh season with the Greens
Panathinaikos pens Konstantinos Mitoglou to long-term extension

Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens has locked down one of its core veterans by signing forward Konstantinos Mitoglou to a contract extension through the 2028-29 season.
Mitoglou (2.10 meters, 29 years old), a veteran of seven EuroLeague seasons, has played all but one of them with the Greens, which he helped to the EuroLeague crown in 2024. He has posted 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in seven EuroLeague so far this season and has averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 177 career EuroLeague games with Panathinaikos.
A native of Thessaloniki, Mitoglou played for Asteria and Aris in his hometown before heading to the United States to play college basketball at Wake Forest University. He returned to Greece in 2017 when he signed with Panathinaikos and has been there ever since, spare the 2021-22 campaign with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.
Mitoglou has won four Greek championships and two Greek Cups with Panathinaikos and the 2021 Italian League with Milan. He has also represented Greece at both the Olympic Games and the FIBA World Cup.
