Olympiacos Piraeus bolstered its frontline with the signing of veteran power forward Alec Peters, the club announced. The Reds will be his fourth EuroLeague team. Peters (2.06 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he spent the past two seasons. He averaged 9.8 points on 39.0% three-point shooting and 3.8 rebounds over 12 games in an injury-plagued campaign last season.

Peters made his EuroLeague debut with CSKA Moscow in 2018 and helped the team with the EuroLeague that season. He also won the VTB United League trophy with CSKA. Peters then joined Anadolu Efes Istanbul for one season. He played college basketball at Valparaiso University and made his professional debut with Phoenix in the NBA. Peters also played for Northern Arizona of the D-League before joining CSKA.
