Real's Coach Laso leaves hospital

Laso, 54, suffered the heart attack overnight Saturday into Sunday, hours after a Spanish League semifinals home win by his team. He underwent a successful cardiac catheterization later on Sunday and remained under observation at the Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Moraleja in the Spanish capital until his release on Tuesday.
"I am at home already and feeling perfect," Laso tweeted shortly after 12 noon local time. "I've been lucky, because life has given me a warning. As the doctor told me yesterday, I am better now than five days ago."
Laso also said thanks on Twitter to his doctors and those who sent good wishes his way amid an outpouring from across the sports world.
"Thanks to everyone for your messages," he added. "Thanks to the entire medical team at Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Moraleja."
