It will be an emotional night on Thursday for FC Barcelona big man Oscar da Silva, who will be returning to the place where he had his break-through Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season in 2021-22 and who will be facing his former teammate, Luke Sikma, of ALBA Berlin.
Barca's da Silva returns to Berlin to face former teammate Sikma

In nine appearances this season, Sikma is averaging 9.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists for ALBA. He missed Round 8, but was back last week for both games, combining for 17 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Sikma is having another solid season so far and he demonstrates week in and week out that the has the brains of a point guard encapsulated in a big man's body. His mission will be complete when ALBA gets to the winning column again.
After a few ups and downs to adapt to a new team, da Silva seems to have found his bearings of late. In nine appearances coming off the bench with Barca, he’s averaged 2.9 points and 3.2 rebounds. da Silva comes off a season-high of 11 points last week and he also pulled 10 boards against Partizan. Expect him to be motivated to play against his former team.
