Round 16 gets underway with Maccabi (9-6) aiming to complete a perfect 'home' week with a visit from a Zvezda (5-10) team which should feel equally as comfortable in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.
Ioannis Sfairopoulos, Zvezda: 'I want to see more players involved'

Maccabi has flown up the standings by winning four of its last five, averaging 94 points per game in the process, with Josh Nebo’s double-double of 17 points and 11 assists a key factor in Tuesday’s win over Baskonia. Zvezda is still searching for consistency, losing three of its last four games including Tuesday’s 58-72 home loss to Real Madrid. Milos Teodosic did manage to pair 14 points with 5 assists, but he and his teammates will face a stern defensive test as coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos faces his former team.
Oded Kattash, Maccabi head coach
"The preparation for the second game of a double-week is different, less tactical. We have to lean on things we did before. They are second to us in offensive rebounding and amount of possessions, so it’s going to be a high tempo game."
Ioannis Sfairopoulos, Zvezda head coach
"We are playing against team that has five wins and three losses on this court. They are at the top of the table, in a position for the playoffs, but this is an important game for us. After the match with Real Madrid, we want to be ready to react. I want to see more players involved in the fight for victory, stay together and be ready to fight for victory."
James Webb, Maccabi player
"Defensively we have to stick to our game plan, they are very good in offensive rebound and pushing the ball in transition, so we have to limit that. We did our job on the boards against Baskonia and we have to do the same tomorrow."
Dejan Davidovac, Zvezda player
"Maccabi is a good team, with loads of quality and experienced players. They are good in transition, they are physically dominant, they are the best offensive rebounders in the league. All these are things we should pay attention to and do our best to win."
