On the rise Bayern (7-9) will attempt to threaten Valencia's (9-7) place in the top 10 as they meet in Munich.
Alex Mumbru, Valencia: 'They never let the other team get comfortable'

Bayern saw a four-game home winning run ended by last week’s loss, 80-91, to Monaco, so will be determined to improve its defense as a launchpad for another successful streak. That’s especially the case as Valencia boasts the league’s best defense (73.8 points per game allowed), most recently holding dangerous Virtus to just 71 points. Valencia will focus a lot of attention on Carsen Edwards, who has scored at least 10 points in six straight, and the Spanish team will also hope Kassius Robertson maintains his recent improvement after knocking down multiple triples in the last two games.
Alex Mumbru, Valencia head coach
"It will be a tough game against a team that plays great defense and forces the worst percentages to its opponents. They do not allow for ball movement generation, they never let the other team get comfortable. In offense they can also score a lot with Edwards, Bolmaro, Francisco or Ibaka, It is not your usual five. We know we will have to play good defense and find our best options on offense."
Justin Anderson, Valencia player
"I am ready and excited to play in the EuroLeague. I was looking for a chance to prove myself at this level and Valencia gave it to me, so I am grateful and excited. I can't wait for this first game against Bayern to come - I want to help the team with my intense defense and help with spacing on the floor with my shot. I want to be one more piece of the puzzle in a team that has already coomplished a few things."
