New ASVEL (3-16) boss Pierric Poupet will hope to make a winning start against a Zvezda team (8-11) boosted by last week's impressive triumphs over Fenerbahce and Partizan.
Ioannis Sfairopoulos, Zvezda: 'I expect to see some new things from them'

The French club, which could give a debut to new signing Deshaun Thomas, has bitter memories from a 94-73 defeat in Belgrade in October. Rokas Giedraitis shined that night with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, and he also hit top form last week with 19 and 14 points, plus 7 rebounds, in each of Zvezda's big wins. ASVEL is also coming off a big win, with 27 points from Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot inspiring a much-needed triumph over Zalgiris.
Ioannis Sfairopoulos, Zvezda head coach
"We are playing against a team that changed their coach, they had no games in the domestic championship, so they had more time to prepare for the game. I expect to see some new things from them on the field both offensively and defensively. We have to "read" and react to the new things in their game during the match. At the same time, we know that they didn't have too much time to change, we know how they play, who is the biggest threat and it will be important to react in defense. On the other hand, as far as our offence is concerned, we have to react and find a solution for everything."
Adam Hanga, Zvezda player
"Another double week, the schedule is very demanding. It will be a difficult game. Everyone expects us to win this match, but I would say that we have one of the most difficult games ahead of us since the beginning of the season, because we want to win to keep the momentum after two huge and important victories over Fenerbahce and Partizan."
