League-leader Real (20-3) will look to take another step towards home-court advantage in the playoffs by welcoming an unpredictable Maccabi (13-10) in Round 24.
Oded Kattash, Maccabi: 'Real calls for a different preparation'

The Israeli team has lost three straight on the road but showed its potential in last week’s thumping win over Panathinaikos, inspired by 22 points and 8 assists from Wade Baldwin, whose backcourt battle with Facundo Campazzo will be crucial. Josh Nebo also had another big game with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and he will look to profit from the absence of Walter Tavares to dominate the paint. Real’s offense was again led by Dzanan Musa in last week’s victory over Olympiacos, as he has now reached double digits in points in seven consecutive games.
Chus Mateo, Real Madrid head coach
"We are facing Maccabi, a classic team of European basketball with capable players who can beat anyone and who are consistent, like Brown and Baldwin, who are the engine of this team. They also have other names like Colson, who are very important. Their inside game, led by Nebo, is very thorough and thet punish the turnovers. That's why we must be extra careful with that aspect. Maccabi also scores a lot in the paint, and they grab many offensive boards. We will try to minimize all that if we want to add a new win."
Oded Kattash, Maccabi head coach
"Real has size and it calls for a different preparation. In the last few weeks we proved that we can start games well. There were times when we couldn't defend the lead, but when we are concentrated in the game plan, we are able to execute. Against Real Madrid, a lot of things are up to them."
Dzanan Musa, Real Madrid player
"We start a yough week, but now we only think about Maccabi, a dangerous, talented team who are also very athletic. If we can close the offensive board we will have options to win. I think this game will be different to our last with them, because they land in this game from a positive dynamic: they just beat Panathinaikos and we all know that's a tough team. Nothing is easy in the EuroLeague, but we are ready to face any obstacle or setback, plus with the support of our people, everything is always easier."
