To call FC Bayern Munich's performance against FC Barcelona in Friday night's 59-52 home triumph a "team display" is a huge understatement.
True team effort kept Bayern alive

This was one of the biggest victories in Bayern's history, yet it was achieved with only one player – Nick Weiler-Babb, with 12 points – scoring in double digits.
That didn't matter, however, because the German team had significant contributions from all 11 players who stepped foot on the floor. That was clearly illustrated by the fact that Bayern's first 10 field goals were scored by nine different players.
Bayern's physical and selfless approach was typified by Gavin Schilling, who came into the game at the start of the second quarter and picked up 4 fouls in just over 2 minutes, but also netted a pair of battling close-range scores during that brief cameo. Schilling did not play again, but in just 2:22 of action he had managed to exemplify his team's attitude towards the whole game.
Bayern coach Andrea Trinchieri was overflowing with pride after the game, allowing himself to chuckle at the fact that, "We were able to win the game shooting from 17% on three-point shots and 45% on two-point shots, and [we shot just over] half the free throws of Barca."
And although it's fair to say that this was far from being Bayern's best night with the ball, the key point is that in addition to magnificent defense, everybody found a way to provide just enough offensive production to seal a famous win.
