Walter Tavares of Real Madrid added his name to a long list of superstars in May when he was named the MVP of the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four. Tavares posted double-doubles in both games at the Final Four in Kaunas and in doing so became the first player with three double-doubles in the modern era of the Final Four.
The winners of the Final Four MVP trophy are a who's who of EuroLeague greats. Since the turn of the century, only four players have achieved that feat more than once.
