Valencia Basket has inked big man Damien Inglis to a two-year deal, the club announced on Friday. Inglis (2.04 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Dreamland Gran Canaria, where he averaged 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17 7DAYS EuroCup games last season and helped his team become the 2022-23 EuroCup champion. He is Valencia's fourth signing this summer, following the arrivals of Semi Ojeleye, Boubacar Toure and Brandon Davies.

Damien Inglis's best EuroCup season
In last year's EuroCup Playoffs, the Frenchman had a season-high 23 points on 11-of-14 shooting in the quarterfinals against Paris Basketball, before adding 11 points and a PIR of 14 in the semifinals against Joventut Badalona. Inglis is a two-time EuroCup champion, as he also lifted the trophy with AS Monaco in 2021. The 2022-23 campaign, Inglis's third season in the EuroCup, he posted his best numbers to date with career-high averages of 9.6 points and 4.1 rebounds.
Inglis is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Valencia next season. In 53 EuroCup career games with Limoges, Monaco and Gran Canaria, Inglis averaged 6.7 points and 3.8 rebounds. In the 2018-19 season, he posted 5.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 15 EuroCup games for Limoges. He returned to the EuroCup in 2020-21 with Monaco, averaging 5.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21 games as the French side went on to lift the trophy. Then, last season he became a EuroCup champion for the second time in three years, having not played in the competition in the 2021-22 campaign.
Inglis started his career with Center Federal du Basket-Ball (INSEP) in his native France. He has also played for Chorale Roanne, Limoges CSP and Strasbourg in France, the Canton Charge and the Westchester Knicks in the G League, the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA, Betaland Capo d'Orlando in Italy and Bilbao Basket in Spain. The big man is also a member of the French national team. Inglis helped Strasbourg win the French Cup title in 2018.
