Virtus adds depth with Karim Jallow

Virtus Bologna made another offseason move by signing forward Karim Jallow on a multi-year deal, the club announced Monday. Jallow (1.98 meters, 28 years old) arrives from ratiopharm Ulm, where he spent the last four seasons.
Last season, Jallow posted 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in BKT EuroCup, while averaging 12.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in the German League, helping Ulm reach the playoff finals.
Jallow grew up with FC Bayern Munich, where he played in youth categories before making his pro debut in 2015. In 2018, Jallow moved to another German League side, Ludwigsburg, then spent two seasons with Braunschweig before joining Ulm ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
He has won two German League championships, in 2018 with Bayern and 2023 with Ulm. He has also lifted a German Cup title with Bayern in 2018. Jallow has also been a member of the German national team, and now he is set to make his EuroLeague debut.
