Ahead of the 2025-26 season, Virtus Bologna has announced which numbers the players will be wearing.
Virtus – now entering its fourth campaign since returning to the EuroLeague – has made eight new additions to its roster, including scoring ace Carsen Edwards from FC Bayern Munich, Luca Vildoza from Olympiacos Piraeus and Alen Smailagic from Zalgiris Kaunas. There is a lot of excitement around 21-year-old forward Saliou Niang, who has joined from Dolomiti Energia Trento and is lighting up EuroBasket 2025.
The other new arrivals are Derrick Alston Jr. from Manresa, Karim Jallow from ratiopharm Ulm, Aliou Diarra from APR in the Basketball Africa League (BAL), and Abramo Canka, who played in the NCAA last season.
