The 28-year-old, who joined Milan during the off-season, featured in two EuroLeague games for the club this season, which came in Rounds 1 and 2. However, he missed the last three rounds due to a knee issue.

"Olimpia Milano and Vlatko Cancar have mutually agreed to terminate his current contract," read Milan's statement. "Olimpia wishes to thank Cancar for his exemplary behavior, professionalism, and commitment during these weeks spent together, hoping to see him back on the court as soon as possible, fully recovered."
