Zalgiris Kaunas has signed point guard Isaiah Taylor on a deal until the end of the season, the club confirmed on Friday. Taylor (1.91 meters, 28 years old) played 11 games for Anadolu Efes Istanbul in the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, averaging 2.6 points in 10:20 minutes on the court. His best performance came against Real Madrid in Round 7, as he scored 13 points. Taylor has arrived at Zalgiris to cover the loss of Keenan Evans, who suffered a torn Achilles in Round 17 and will be out for between six and eight months.

Prior to joining Efes at the start of November, Taylor played for UCAM Murcia of Spain, averaging 15.2 points and 3.5 assists in the Spanish League in the 2021-22 season. Thanks to his performances, he was named to the All-ACB second team. Taylor has also played for Houston and Atlanta of the NBA, as well as Rio Grande of the G League and Maccabi Rishon LeZion of Israel.
