The Lithuanian champs represent the sixth stop in Lo's EuroLeague journey
Zalgiris locks in Maodo Lo for backcourt boost

Zalgiris Kaunas added experience and versatility to its backcourt by signing veteran guard Maodo Lo to a one-year contract, the club announced Tuesday.
Lo (1.91 meters, 32 years old) joins the Lithuanian champions after a strong season with Paris Basketball, where he averaged 10.0 points and 2.1 assists in 29 EuroLeague games. He also helped Paris capture the French League crown
This marks the sixth EuroLeague team for Lo, who began his professional career in 2016 with Brose Bamberg following a standout NCAA run at Columbia University. He went on to play for FC Bayern Munich, ALBA Berlin, and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where he won the Italian League championship in 2024 before moving to Paris.
A proven winner, Lo has also claimed four German League titles — with Bamberg (2017), Bayern (2019), and ALBA (2021, 2022) — and has enjoyed significant success with the German national team, winning gold at the 2023 FIBA World Cup and bronze at EuroBasket 2022.
Over 249 career EuroLeague appearances, Lo has scored 2,238 points (9.0 ppg.) and dished 633 assists (3.6 apg.), ranking second all-time among German players in EuroLeague scoring behind Tibor Pleiss (2,705).
Lo’s signing continues Zalgiris's efforts to blend experience with ambition as the club looks to remain competitive in the upcoming EuroLeague season.
