A week after finally gaining its first win of the season, Hamburg (1-6) will look to build more momentum by overcoming visiting playoffs-chasing Wolves (3-3).
Benka Barloschky, Hamburg: 'We know they will change things, but we don't know what'

The German team's narrow win at Cedevita was led by 26 points from Aljami Durham, who has made 57.1% of his three-point attempts this season and reached double digits in scoring on four occasions. Wolves needs to bounce back from last week's surprise home loss against Reyer, and will look to crash the boards after averaging 12.2 offensive rebounds per game so far – second-most in the league. The consistent Tre'Shawn Thurman is the key man in that approach, averaging 2.7 offensive boards per game as well as 16.7 points.

"I think Vilnius is a very ambitious location. A lot should be achieved here in a relatively short period of time. There is not exactly a small amount of investment being made in this regard, the team is therefore of high quality. They have recently had to struggle with failure, which also makes preparation more difficult for us. They have some definitely dominant players who play a lot of minutes who haven't been there recently. We know they will change things, but we don't know what. We have no choice but to make assumptions. For us it's again about investing more than the opponent. Accepting the underdog role is the foundation. If we don't do that, then we have no chance. That's what we learned.”
Leif Moller, Hamburg player
"Slowly but surely I’m finding my role. This also makes it easier for me to help the team on the court. The standard in the EuroCup is very high. Defending a player like Klemen Prepelic last week was a very valuable experience for me. All of us on the team learn a lot in these games. Therefore, international competition is not always just about winning or losing. Of course we want to win as athletes, but we also see the developmental advantage that participation in the EuroCup offers us."
