An action-packed week, the first of two double-round weeks in December, had many players returning to play their former teams. It also meant many former teammates and long-time friends had a chance to see each other and catch up and that's what so many of the players did, before and after the games. The camaraderie between the players was evident every step of the way.
Monaco's Donatas Motiejunas returned to his hometown of Kaunas, while Milan's Maodo Lo and Johannes Voigtmann came to Munich for a little reunion with their fellow World Champions Isaac Bonga and Andreas Obst.
