Sharpshooting forward Gytis Radzevicius joins Baskonia

Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz has strengthened its roster with the addition of Lithuanian forward Gytis Radzevicius, signing him for the remainder of the season with an option through 2026–27, the club announced Wednesday.
Radzevicius (1.97 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Rytas Vilnius, where he spent the past six seasons and became a key contributor. He will act as a replacement for Hamidou Diallo, whose exit was also confirmed Wednesday.
This year, he averaged 10.4 points on a blistering 50% shooting from three-point range and 6.0 rebounds in nine Lithuanian League games, while posting 11.6 points, 44.4% from deep, and 6.6 rebounds in five Basketball Champions League appearances. His impact helped Rytas capture Lithuanian League championships in 2022 and 2024.
A versatile wing known for his toughness and perimeter accuracy, Radzevicius brings experience and leadership to Baskonia’s rotation. He began his career with SKM-Haribo and later played for Kupiskis, MRU Vilnius, Vytis Zamavykas Sakiai, and Juventus Utenos before joining Rytas in 2020. He has also represented Lithuania at the national team level.
Radzevicius is expected to make his EuroLeague debut later this month, adding depth and physicality to Baskonia’s push in the second half of the season.
