“I have two thoughts. First I want to congratulate Saras and Barca. They put together a great second half. They deserved to win this game, they were better. The second thought goes to my players that, in my opinion, played an unbelievable series. I am very proud of them.

“We can talk for hours about this mistake or that, but tonight we put together three unbelievable quarters playing above our limit and playing as hard as we can. The third quarter cost us the game. We tried to attack the rim, we never went to the line. The other factor was Laprovittola who tonight really put together an unbelievable performance. That’s it. I don’t feel depressed. I don’t feel overwhelmed by the situation. I have never been more proud of players and my team. There is also another team on the court and in the third quarter, Barca was a championship team and this is the reason they won the game."

“This is EuroLeague. There are no easy games. So far, we’ve learned how to suffer as a team, but in the key moments, we are there. We show up. Today we did it. It was a great atmosphere. We didn’t have our best first half, as we wanted, but the second half was amazing the way we played defense, the way we shared the ball on offense. It was just a great performance by my team, I am very proud of the guys, of the coaching staff. As we know, the job is not done, but you have to be happy because we classified for the Final Four.”

“I think we reacted at halftime. We attacked the third quarter with very good defense, we improved on offense and our decision-making and we played with character in the second half. Everybody was intense. Everybody was giving 100%. This is the way we have to play.”
