Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has completed the signing of Nigel Hayes-Davis on a one-year deal, the club confirmed on Friday. Hayes-Davis (2.03 meters, 27 years old) arrives from FC Barcelona, where he averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 37 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season. He returns to Turkey after previously playing for Galatasaray in the 2018-19 campaign.

Hayes-Davis has spent the last three seasons playing in the EuroLeague, as he represented Zalgiris Kaunas in the competition for two seasons prior to joining Barcelona last summer. His second campaign with Zalgiris saw him increase his scoring average from 6.3 points per game in 2019-20 to 9.9 points per game in 2020-21. Hayes-Davis first caught the eye of EuroLeague clubs when he was playing for Galatasaray in the 7DAYS EuroCup, as he averaged 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 10 games. He has also played for Westchester and the Raptors 905 of the G League, as well as Los Angeles, Toronto and Sacramento of the NBA.
