Klemen Prepelic staying put at Dubai

Dubai Basketball has announced that Klemen Prepelic will remain at the club for at least the coming season. The length of his contract has not been disclosed.
Prepelic (1.91 meters, 32 years old) was one of Dubai's star players in the ABA League during 2024-25, posting 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.0 steal per game across 35 appearances.
In its first season in the ABA League, Dubai reached the playoffs and advanced to the semifinals before falling to Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in a 2-1 series defeat.
Prepelic has played 90 times in the EuroLeague before and his career averages stand at 8.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He made 10 appearances as a youngster for Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in 2012-13, then his next season in the competition came in 2018-19 with Real Madrid, when he played 21 times. The Slovenian international later appeared in 59 EuroLeague games for Valencia Basket in the 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons.
