Panathinaikos Athens has added more firepower to its roster by signing small forward Dwayne Bacon, the club announced on Friday. Bacon (1.98 meters, 27 years old) most recently played for AS Monaco, where he averaged 14.0 points on 41.9% three-point shooting and 3.1 rebounds in 29 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. He helped Monaco reach the EuroLeague Playoffs in the club's debut season in the competition, while he also helped lead the team to the French League finals.

Bacon joined Monaco from Orlando of the NBA, having averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 72 games during the 2020-21 season. He also played for Charlotte from 2017 to 2020.
