The momentum has shifted to Maccabi as it looks to seal a first Final Four appearance since 2014 with a decisive visit on Wednesday to Monaco, which is aiming to reach European basketball's biggest event for the very first time. Maccabi made a serious statement with a 104-69 victory in Game 4 partly based on a major advantage in the rebounding battle, 46-35. The Israeli team also boasts an extremely consistent scorer in Wade Baldwin, who averages 18.0 points in this series with at least 16 points in every game. Monaco needs at least one of its star trio of guards – Mike James, Elie Okobo and Jordan Loyd – to match the output of Baldwin and the equally dangerous Lorenzo Brown, who averages 16.2 points and 4.8 assists in the playoffs.

Oded Kattash, Maccabi head coach
"Not a lot to say. Game 5, everybody understands what it means. We are trying to make history. We are excited. Basketball-wise we want to push the ball better, just like we play at home. It will not be the same atmosphere but we have to focus on basketball."
Donatas Motiejunas, Monaco player
"The coach, experienced players like me, will have to find the words to re-motivate everyone. Letting Maccabi play at the pace they want is not possible. Game 5 will be do-or-die. We will have to give everything."
