Two teams just outside the playoffs places will battle to improve their positions as Bayern (6-8) welcomes Efes (7-7).
Erdem Can, Efes: 'They play very disciplined basketball'

The German team has won three straight at home and will look to dominate through the physical prowess of Serge Ibaka, who leads the league in blocked shots (1.6 bpg.) and ranks second in rebounding (6.8 rpg.). Injury-hit Efes, which has a 2-6 record on the road, has been lifted by newcomer Mike Daum, averaging 13.8 points on 52.6% three-point shooting in his four appearances. Bayern leads the league in rebounding with 39.1 per game, while Efes ranks last with 30.2, so that physical edge could be crucial on Wednesday night.
Pablo Laso, Bayern head coach
"Efes has become a classic in the EuroLeague; they have been champions twice. This season, they are without two key figures, Coach Ataman and Micic, who has moved to the NBA. However, they are once again very strong, with a new coach and new ideas, and with Larkin and Beaubois staying, along with Thompson, who had a great year. The start was tough for them due to injuries, but now players are returning, such as Bryant, whom we expect, as well as Zizic. This is a very good team, and we must be very attentive from the beginning."
Erdem Can, Efes head coach
"Bayern Munich has a very valuable coach and they play very disciplined basketball. Esepcially at their home court they play in high tempo. All their injured players are back and now they have a full roster. Knowing this, we need to prepare very well."
Justus Hollatz, Efes player
"Bayern Munich is a good team which is finding its rhythm better and better. They are really aggressive defensively and on the offensive boards. Got a good mix of inside and outside players so we gotta be ready for a tough and a physical game at their homecourt."
