Playoffs-chasing Baskonia (14-13) will look for home comforts against an ALBA team (5-22) that has only won once on the road all season.
Israel Gonzalez, ALBA: 'We want to keep improving'

Both teams need to improve defensively, after ALBA allowed 106 points against Maccabi last week while Baskonia fared even worse, conceding 111 at Fenerbahce. The Spanish team's backcourt dynamo, Codi Miller-McIntyre, top-scored with 17 points in an 86-91 victory in Berlin in Round 2. That was also helped by 13 rebounds from Tadas Sedekerskis, who returned from injury in last week's loss at Fenerbahce. He will now look to regain his top form and combine with Chima Moneke to overcome the challenge of ALBA big man Johannes Thiemann and give his team the physical edge at Buesa Arena.
Israel Gonzalez, ALBA head coach
"Like in all the EuroLeague games, the match against Baskonia is going to be a tough challenge for us. I hope that my team can go into the next game as healthy as possible and that we have learned from the experience of our last two games. We want to keep improving during the last stage of the season and play as close to our hundred percent as possible."
Yanni Wetzell, ALBA player
"Friday's game is super important for Baskonia in the hunt for the EuroLeague playoffs. They have a very good team with individually strong players. Markus Howard is one of the league's top guards and always dangerous. Chima Moneke has also repeatedly shown his strengths over the course of the season. But we also took a step in the right direction on Sunday with the win against Oldenburg. We played together as a team and brought energy onto the court. We have to keep building on that."
