After blasting 105 and 109 points in its last two home games, Efes (12-16) will attempt to keep alive its fragile postseason hopes by ending a seven-game losing run on the road and overcoming ASVEL (6-22).
Tomislav Mijatovic, Efes: 'We need to be super focused'

October's meeting between the teams saw Efes prevail 89-84 in Istanbul behind 19 points from Will Clyburn, who looks to be recovering his best form after scoring 17 and 21 points in the last two games. ASVEL has been boosted by the return from injury of Nando De Colo, who has scored 15 and 13 points in his two games back from injury. The French legend now needs a PIR of 19 to become the first in competition history to reach a career total of 5,000, and his backcourt battle with fellow scoring ace Shane Larkin could be crucial.
Tomislav Mijatovic, Efes head coach
"Ahead of us we are facing one of the very experienced teams in the EuroLeague. At their home court, they play an offensive minded basketball. They have a lot of individual experienced scorers like Nando de Colo, Joffrey Lauvergne and Youssoupha Fall. They have a list of players that are EuroLeague and internationally experienced. We need to be super focused, super concentrated and super aggressive on both ends of the floor for 40 minutes in order to reach our goal."
Tibor Pleiss, Efes player
"LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne is a great team. Maybe they are not in a position for the playoffs but that doesn’t mean that they are less dangerous. They have a lot of good quality players who have in this situation nothing to lose. It’s a home game for them and I’m sure the team wants to play good basketball in front of their fans. We are in a situation that we have to win. We are going to France to bring back the points to Istanbul."
