The game between UNICS Kazan and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade was special for Nate Wolters, and he made sure he was noticed at Basket Hall.
Wolters shined in returns to Kazan

Wolters led Zvezda to a 77-84 road victory against UNICS, one of his former teams. Wolters played for UNICS last season, and Fridays was his first game back at Basket Hall since leaving the club. He helped UNICS reach the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals last season, losing against AS Monaco. Wolters averaged 7.1 points and 2.4 assists in 16 games.
He opted over the summer to start a second stint with Zvezda and was ready on Friday to make his team bounce back from a 78-98 home loss against UNICS back in Round 12. Wolters did exactly that this time, dominating the game from start to finish to lead Zvezda to its ninth victory.
Wolters stepped up early, contributing 3 points in a 0-9 run. He kept going all game long, getting a three-pointer and a layup in a second quarter in which Zvezda otherwise struggled to score. After halftime, Wolters scored 10 more points, some of them in critical moments. UNICS led 71-69 with over 6 minutes left but Wolters fed Nikola Kalinic for a triple and then struck from downtown in a 0-9 run that put Zvezda in the right track to win the game, 71-78.
When the dust settled, Wolters had finished the game with 19 points on 6-for-10 two-point and 2-foir-3 three-point shooting to go with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, a block and 4 fouls drawn for a performance index rating of 21.
