Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has completed the signing of Facundo Campazzo, the team announced on Monday. The deal is through the end of the 2023-24 season. Campazzo (1.81 meters, 31 years old) returns to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague after two years in the NBA with Denver and Dallas.

Campazzo has played a total of five seasons in the EuroLeague, all of which were with Real Madrid. He made his competition debut in the 2014-15 season and helped Los Blancos win the 2015 EuroLeague title. A two-year loan followed with UCAM Murcia and after his return to Real in the summer of 2017, Campazzo went on to average 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists over the next four seasons. In 2018, his second season back at Real, Campazzo was a key piece as the team again became EuroLeague champions. Across his EuroLeague career as a whole, Campazzo has averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
At present, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade is provisionally prohibited from registering new players or coaches on its Turkish Airlines EuroLeague roster during a Euroleague Basketball Finance Panel adjudicatory proceeding based on overdue payables and omitting to provide due information.
