Anadolu Efes Istanbul has confirmed that Shane Larkin will miss a further two months of action after undergoing groin surgery.
Larkin, who averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds through the first 11 games of the season, had already missed the last two rounds due to this injury. He is expected to be back around the start of February.
"Following recent tests and examinations, our captain Shane Larkin underwent surgery on his left groin tendon. The surgical procedure was performed in the United States," Efes confirmed.
"Our doctor, Uğur Diliçıkık, stated that the surgery was successful and that our player will be sidelined for two months following the procedure."
