Barça bolsters frontcourt with versatile big man Miles Norris

FC Barcelona added another weapon to its frontcourt by signing American forward Miles Norris on a one-year deal, the club confirmed on Friday.
Norris (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from the G League, where he split time between the Maine Celtics and Memphis Hustle last season, showcasing his shooting touch and athleticism. He also appeared in three games in the NBA for the Boston Celtics.
He averaged 17.1 points on 38.5% three-point shooting and 5.4 rebounds in 36 games with Memphis and later posted 14.5 points on 39.3% three-point shooting plus 6.3 boards in 8 games with Maine. It was Norris's second season in the G League. He also played briefly for Cagdas Bodrum in Turkiye at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Norris, who played college basketball at Oregon, CC of San Francisco, and UC Santa Barbara, is expected to bolster Barcelona’s depth at the power forward spot, joining newly signed Tornike Shengelia in a revamped frontcourt.
