The marksman missed all but one game in 2024-25 after suffering a torn ACL
Fenerbahce, Scottie Wilbekin agree to extension

Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and veteran guard Scottie Wilbekin will remain together after signing a new multi-year deal. The contract is for one season with an option for a second. Wilbekin (1.88 meters, 32 years old) comes off his third season with the club, though he missed nearly the entirety of the 2024-25 campaign after suffering a torn ACL on opening night.
Expected to be back early next season, Wilbekin will resume his climb up the all-time EuroLeague shooting charts. He is fifth in career three-pointers made with 608 and needs 1 more to catch Sergio Rodriguez for fourth place. Serio Llull is the all-time leader with 686. Wilbekin ranks 15th in career steals with 282, 18th in career scoring with 3,179 points and is 25th with 802 assists.
A native of Florida, Wilbekin played college basketball for the Florida Gators and then began his professional career in Australia with Cairns Taipans in 2014. He also played for AEK Athens in Greece before first coming to Turkiye with Darussafaka Istanbul, with which he made his EuroLeague debut and won the EuroCup in 2018, when he was also crowned EuroCup MVP. Then came four years with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv before his move to Fenerbahce. Wilbekin has also played for the Turkish national team.
