Alex Mumbru, Valencia head coach
"We start the EuroLeague season against a team that is used to the competition. They have a good team and have had a solid preseason. They also have a coach [Joan Penarroya] that knows us well, and I am sure they will make it hard for us. It will be a tough game for 40 minutes. This game is what we have to focus on, and try to start the EuroLeague on the right foot. We want to be competitive and it all starts with being competitive at home. We always need to have lofty ambitions, but thinking about the day to day, too. We cannot think about the playoffs right now. Even if it sounds cliché, we have to think about Baskonia and then in a couple of months we'll see what we are capable of."
